Between February and March our Flame of the Forest (Erythrina fusca) are in full bloom. It
is an expected event for us because of the beauty and the exoticism of the
flower. Its deep orange color and their arrangement in clusters form an image
that is a delight for our eyes.
But there is a tree that is the most enjoyed, due to its
privileged position: in front of the restaurant and with the Concepción volcano
as background. And every morning at breakfast time clients appear one after
another: the white-throated Magpie-Jay (Calocitta formosa) who come to sip the
nectar that the flowers have accumulated in the coldness of the night.
noche.
